We headed out on the trans canada again in the morning. About 1 hour before Riviere du Loup we left the main road and followed the old Hwy # 134 that runs right along the St. Lawrence. It was a lovely road. We stopped in a beautiful old town right on the water at low tide and had a look around. The piers there were built in the early 1800s and the houses are all wooden and painted bright colours. Lovely to see. All the towns also have a huge church spire from the Catholic churches. We stopped at Suragloaf Provincial Park in Cambellton, NB for the night. It is also a ski resort in the winter and it is a bike park in the summer. There is a huge hill (mountain) that has the Terry Fox Memorial Trail around it.
