Today we did the Cabot Trail. The scenery was amazing, the roads at times were not. As long as you're in the National Park the roads are really good, but as soon as you're out the roads are rough and narrow and the shoulders just fall away. It is also the most turny and twisty piece of road you will ever do. Most of the mountain turns are suggested at 30 km. We'd prefer to come back some time with the car. It was a really good day though. Lots of places to pull off and look out to the ocean. Lots of beautiful trails. We hiked to Corny Brook Waterfall which took about 1 1/2 hrs. We stopped for lunch just before that at Trout Brook and we had coffee in the afternoon over looking Black Brook Cove. We stopped for the night at Englishtown, NS on the East side of St. Ann's Bay which is close to North Sydney at a campground called Englishtown Ridge Campground. Another day is done.
